I am having a real problem getting the hang of signed fraction multiplication. I don't even know where to start. Could someone please give me some hint/tips on how to solve these kind of problems?
One easy tip: if you are multiplying and/or dividing a whole bunch of numbers in one problem (with no addition or subtraction), just count the number of negative signs.
If the number of negative signs is odd, the answer will be negative.
If the number of negative signs is even, the answer will be positive.
