barry is doing an experiment he drops 20 matchsticks at random onto a grid of parallel lines. barry does the experiment 10 times and records hih results, he wants to work out an estimate of probability the number of the 20 matchsticks that have fallen across a line are 5 7 6 4 6 8 5 3 5 7 use barry's data to work out the probability that a single matchstick whendropped will fall across one of the lines show workings
 
sorry i forgot to say this was given to my son as homework and to be honest the answer i came up with was 0.28 over 1 he bless him had no problem with all the other questions but this one stumped him i would like to know if im on the right track
