hey, can anyone help me with this problem please.
y=x²-16+63 whats are the vertex and axis of the symmetry of the parabola?

I'm guessing that you intended to type the following quadratic equation, instead, but I'm not 100% sure.

y = x^2 - 16x + 63

You can use a formula for calculating the x-coordinate of the vertex.

x = -B/(2A)

Of course, once you know the value of x at the vertex, you can easily calculate the corresponding value of y.

The axis of symmetry for a parabola is simply the vertical line that passes through the vertex.

Can you finish now? Otherwise, if you want more help, please show whatever work you can or explain what you're thinking. 8-)
