I have a couple of questions regarding the lottery and was hoping someone could help. This is not homework/coursework, im not at school/college/university etc., this is just for a personal project and i would only need the answer without calculations.
I would like to know the odds of getting 6 out of 90 correct if you are guaranteed to have one number correct. What would be the percentage i.e. you would have a _______% better chance of winning. Also what would be the odds of getting 3 correct if you had one number guaranteed. 1 in _____.
the same applies to a different lottery where you have to get 5 out of 56 and 1 out of 46 to hit the jackpot. what would be the percentage difference if you only needed the 5 out of 56.
