I need help figuring out the approach to use to solve this question. I'm not sure what steps to take.

Use the general multiplication rule to find the indicated probability: In January in a certain city the unconditional probability of rain on any given day of the month is 0.400. But the probability of rain on a day that follows a rainy day is 0.600 and the probability of rain on a day following a nonrainy day is 0.250. Find the probability of rain on three randomly selected consecutive days in January.

prob of rain on day 1 =.4
knowing it rained on day 1 prob of rain on day 2 =.6

Prob . of 3 days of successive rain = .4 x .6 x .6 = .144
