???I also having problem with this one, thanks for help.

You observe the following sample drawn from a normal random variable X~N: (µ , 4.6, 8.1, 8.9, 5.2 6.5, 6.3, 7.1, 5.8, 4.9, 7.3.
a)Use the sample to estimate µ and SD .
b)Estimate the variance of the sample average
c) Find a 95% confidence interval for µ .
d) Test the null hypothesis H0:µ = 9 against H0 :µ ? 9 with a =1%
e) Consider the null hypothesis H0: µ = µ0 against H0:µ ? u0 with a = 5%. For which values of
µ0 will you not reject the null hypothesis? Relate your answer to your answer to c) and d).


For a) i get µ 6,47 and SD 1,4024?

a) You have them both correct.
b) What do you get? Somethign about the sample size and the square of the standard deviation comes to mind. Let's see what you get.
