A county claims their households have a mean income of at least $38,000 per year. The population standard deviation is $6200. A random sample of 100 households in the county finds a mean income of $36,580 per year. Using a significance level of 0.10, is there enough evidence to reject the null hypothesis. TIA

Well, you ARE going to have to STATE the Null hypothesis.

Decide, one-tail or two-tail.

Calculate critical values.

etc.

Let's see what you get.
