Hi all,

I answered this question by Minitab , but I'm not sure. the q is


Use the data set HEALTH.MTW in the Student 8 DATA folder.

-Construct a 95% confidence interval for the proportion of students who are female.

My answer is :

Event = 1

Variable X N Sample p 95% CI
Gender 12 21 0.571429 (0.340206, 0.781803)

Did you do anything incorrectly on purpose? Why do you doubt?
 
Even if we had Minitab, we would still need the data set HEALTH.MTW
 
What you seem to be saying is that you expect someone to hvae the same book and that you would like them to verify your results without you having to demonstrate the slightest bit of competence - except to ask. You didn't even provide an Edition of the student folder.

Again, what part of your project did you complete incorrectly on purpose? That't the part that is most likely incorrect. If there is none, again, why do you doubt?
 
Not the same book, the same software. Minitab statistical software. HEALTH.MTW is a file that comes preloaded into Minitab as a tutorial and for practice.
