Shawn uses a ramp to get in andb out of the house. what is the height of the ramp? Round you answer to the nearest tenth.

There is a right triangle that points towards the right. The legnth on the top is 12 the legnth on the bottom is 11. there is no give legnth on the left side of the triangle.

We cannot describe the orientation of a triangle this way because all triangles "point" in three different directions.

Learn some proper names for the three sides.

A right triangle has base 11 and hypotenuse 12. Find the height.

Use the Pythagorean Theorem, to find the third side.
