On I-95 there were 1.72 accidents per mile per year on the 327 mile stretch of I-95. In the 35 miles of I-95 of Broward county, what's the probability that there would be exactly 50 accidents per year?

So there's a total of 572 accidents and\(\displaystyle \\\) \(\displaystyle \sum_{x=0}^k\frac{\lambda^xe^{-\lambda}}{x!}?\)

\(\displaystyle {\lambda}=35(1.72)=60.2\)

\(\displaystyle \frac{(60.2)^{50}\cdot e^{-60.2}}{50!}\approx .0225\)
