If n=5, X={1,2,3,4,5}
I need to find a permutation f E S[sub:13iz97vj]X[/sub:13iz97vj] such that f[sup:13iz97vj]6[/sup:13iz97vj]=1[sub:13iz97vj]X[/sub:13iz97vj]. But f[sup:13iz97vj]n[/sup:13iz97vj] not= 1[sub:13iz97vj]X[/sub:13iz97vj] if 1<=n<=5.
I'm really unsure how to do this. please any help greatly appreciated. thanks

It looks (to me) like the symbol X is a name for the set of the first five Natural numbers.

I do not understand the notation 1[sub:14cao5bd]X[/sub:14cao5bd].

Can you define the following symbols, for me ?

n

f[sup:14cao5bd]n[/sup:14cao5bd]

S[sub:14cao5bd]X[/sub:14cao5bd]
