What was the exact question asked?

The question is 1. and 2. then my answer is where it says this is my answer.

I was asked to solve the equation make a table with the function then graph it

Hi BK94,

I believe what you're trying to say is convert the equations into y = mx + b format, set up a table with arbitrary x values and solve for y. Correct?

Then find a solution to the system if one exists. Am I close?

[1] \(\displaystyle 3=4y+x\)

\(\displaystyle 4y=-x+3\)

\(\displaystyle \boxed{y=-.25x+.75}\)

[2] \(\displaystyle 4y=-x+3\)

\(\displaystyle \boxed{y=-.25x+.75}\)

Equations [1] and [2] are identical. The system is consistent and dependent.
The graphs of the lines coincide.
There is an infinite number of solutions.
