One way is to use the ^ key which is above the 6 on your keyboard. Here are some examples. 2x^3 means 2x[sup:33ok09vc]3[/sup:33ok09vc]. (2x)^3 means (2x)[sup:33ok09vc]3[/sup:33ok09vc]. You can also use the "sup" button which is the second from the right at the top of the reply field. That's what I used on the previous two responses.
