Use the coefficients and constant term to name the slope and y-intercept of the graph, then write the equation in slope intercept form

the problem is 4x++3y=-2

Solve an arbitrary case.

ax + by = c

by = -ax + c

y = (-a/b)x + (c/b)

There you have it, the Slope-Intercept form.

From 4x+3y = -2, we have a = 4, b = 3, and c = -2
