= 596/1129

P(man) and P(heavy drinker) are not mutually exclusive. Therefore,

Answer: P(man OR a heavy drinker) = P(man) + P(heavy drinker) - P(man AND heavy drinker)
= (559/1129) + (71/1129) - (37/1129)
