For the life of me, I cannot figure out this application problem no matter what approach I take. Can anybody give it a shot, I would appreciate any help I can get.

Q: The percent of various types and locations of U.S. households with Internet Service (I), can be approximated by the equation: 959C - 1000I = 456.8. According to the equation, what percent of households would need to have a computer before the percent with Internet service reached 75%.

I'm coming up with 1.25 (125%), which doesn't make sense and doesn't match the answer in the back of the book (78.68%).

Wonderful. Too bad you didn't share with us how you arrived at that value.

Try solving for I in 959 * C - 1000 * (75) = 456.8
