Hi, I need help for my statistics project and I have a few questions for you guys.
This was the question assigned to me "Is there a difference in the word length between the writings of Jane Austen and George Orwell?"
They asked me to explain how I will select the data or design the experiment to gather the data for example:simple random sample, systematic sampling, block design...etc. Which one should i use?
Then they asked me to list the data values I obtained and choose a graphical display like stemplots, histograms, pie charts. Which one would be appropriate for the question that was assigned to me?
I know this is a hypothesis test but should i use a Z-test, T-est, or a chi square test? Also what would be the p-value?
