The question is:56.5% of jail inmates are white; 94% ar emen, and 53.5% are white males. Compute the following probabilities:

(A) The inmate is either white or a male
(B) The inmate is a female
(C) The inmate is a white woman
(D) The inmate is a non-white male
(E) The inmate is a non-white male
 
Get underwhelmed by setting up a 2x2 grid.
Label the rows "Male" and "Female".
Label the columns "White" and "Other".
Total the "White" column 56.5.
Total the "Male" row 94.0.
Label the intersection of white and male 53.5.
Now, ponder the missing pieces.
