Okay I know how to find the variance if you have numbers like x1, x2, etc...but this problem just says..
m=120, sigma-unk, s=18, and n=36...?? How am I supposed to solve it with this info?? Any help will be great! Thank you guys!
Do you have a reasonable approximation for the Standard Deviation, using the Sample Standard Deviation? For what do we want the Standard Deviaion? The population or the Mean?
