How many standard deviations from the mean is a count of 30 successes in a binomial deviation where n= 100, p=0.2?
* Do you use binomial distribution cdf?

In N trials with probability p of success the mean \(\displaystyle \mu=pN\)
and the standard deviation \(\displaystyle \sigma=\sqrt{N(p)(1-p)}\).

binomial

= square root 100 (.2) (1-.2)
=20-.8= 19.2
* Is this right?

No it is most clearly wrong.
Do you realize that your basic skills are really lacking?
Until you 'beef up'' those skills you are going to be very frustrated by these questions. If I were you, I would seek a sit-down face-to-face with an instructor. I would ask for some tutorial help.

Ok getting smart with me is uncalled for. I'm only asking you a simple question, but if this is too much for you then do not reply to any of my posts. Good day!
