You are packing for a road trip and you buy snack packages (same size, same weight) for the trip. You buy 8 Potato Chips, 3 Doritos and 2 Corn Curls. You put them in a bag and mix them up. During the trip, you reach into the bag and pull out two packages at random.
I just need to make sure my answers are correct bc i'm not totally sure:
What is the probability that the two snacks will be of the same kind?
64/156
What is the probability that the two snacks will be different?
92/156 -> i did 1-(64/156)
What is the probability that one will be potato chips and the other corn curls?
32/156
(8/13)*(2/12) added to (2/13)*(8/12)
What is the probability that the second choice will be neither corn curls nor potato chips but the first one is either corn curls or potato chips?
30/156
(10/13)*(3/12)
