A six-sided die is weighted so that the probability of the numbers 1 to 6 facing upwards is as
shown in this table.
What is the probability that the number facing up is even or a multiple of 3?
Answer:
the value of k is 1/20 which is 0.05
P(Even or Multiple of 3) = P(Even) + (Multiple of 3)
= 9/20 + 7/20
= 16/20
= 0.8
I wonder why the textbook says 0.6
Please help...
