I went on a field trip to do some plant watching (like bird watching but with plants) in 5 different locations. Our class was split into 5 groups and each group went to the 5 different locations to identify plants in the area, every group got to go to the 5 different locations to observe plants and take note of which plants were in the area. I was assigned to graph one plant and here's the data that showed the frequency my plant showed up in the 5 different locations; http://imageshack.us/a/img809/3295/screenshot20120922at518.png.

long story short, I'm confused on which type of graph I should use to represent my data and how I'm going to put it on the graph. I need help :(

Depending on exactly what you want your graph to show, I would suggest
(a) Five different bar graphs, one for each group, showing how many plants were found in a given area.

(b) Five different bar graphs, one for each area, showing how many plants were found by a given group.

(c) A single bar graph, showing the total, over all groups, of plants found in each area.
