A + D + C = 156 .................................................(1)

A + D = 122 ........................................................(2)

C + D = 88 ..........................................................(3)

So subtract (2) from (1) [(1) - (2)]

(A + D + C) - (A + D) = 156 - 122

C = 34................................................................(4)

subtract (4) from (3) [(3) - (4)]

(C + D) - (C) = 88 - 34

What do you get?

continue....

This is pretty tough problem for 4th. grader!!!

I got it!

A + D + C = 156 .................................................(1)

A + D = 122 ........................................................(2)

C + D = 88 ..........................................................(3)

So subtract (2) from (1) [(1) - (2)]

(A + D + C) - (A + D) = 156 - 122

C = 34................................................................(4)

subtract (4) from (3) [(3) - (4)]

(C + D) - (C) = 88 - 34

What do you get?

continue....

This is pretty tough problem for 4th. grader!!!

I got ... (C+D) - (C) = 54
(A+D) - (D) = 68
check
34 + 54 + 68 = 156 snacks

Thank You so very much ... and yes 4th grade is hard but I was skipped a grade.. the youngest in my class at 8 years old.
