sampling question

Hello forum,

I wonder if anyone could perhaps clarify something for me? I am developing a survey for a project and recently piloted it amongst the target population. Here are a few specifics to help set the question in perspective:

Once finalised, I will be gathering my actual data from 3 locations (specialist care centres, excluding the centre used in the pilot):

For the pilot, I accessed ONE of three centres which will be available for the final survey, and I surveyed twenty of the twenty-two people who were actually registered at this site at the time of survey. This occurred over the space of three consecutive days.
Regarding the two persons who did not participate: one refused repeatedly over the course of the three days I was surveying, and one was excluded at the suggestion of staff due to severe language difficulties and other issues.

I had intended to use opportunity sampling, as it was 'just' the pilot - however, in the interest of gathering as much feedback as possible I actually *almost* accidentally performed a census, it seems

As this isn't technically opportunity sampling, nor a census...but doesn't seem to fall into any other obvious category to me...what could I call this sample method when writing up

Thank you in advance for any light you can shed on this one!

Censored Census?
I suspect tkhunny was being punny, which may not be funny. Playing with words.

Sorry, I don't know a term for that kind of sample, so you could call it a "qualified census" or something like that.

ah, thanks. Yeah, perhaps not all that helpful or 'funny' for an "elite" member to send a new member with a sincere question on a wild goose chase looking for information on something that doesn't exist. Thanks for wasting my time, tkhunny :-?

I'll look at the "qualified census" option, and keep further questions to myself - cheers.
