Probability problem. Ratings involved
Have tried working this out but i have been unable to for almost a week.
Summary of the Question
#you have 100 chairs
#36 are chosen randomly to test closeness to specification
# each chair is given a rating from 0- 10
# std deviation of the ratings is 2
find the probability that the mean rating of the sample will be more than 1 point below the mean rating of all the chairs .
Am stuck at the rating part. Beyond my comprehension capacity
