Hi,
I need help with this question
100 people agreed to drink from 2 unmarked cups and indicate which soft drink they preferred (soft drink A or B). 54% said they liked B better, construct a 95% confidence interval for p, the true proportion of people who prefer soft drink B to A.
standard error
[0.54(0.46)]/100=0.002484
take the square root =0.0498
0.54-1.96(0.0498) and 0.54+1.96(0.0498)
0.442 and 0.638
but my solution does not match my book, what did I do wrong?
thanks
