This was on the study guide for a math final. Most appreciated :). For college course I am struggling with.

1) A production manager counted the number of items produced each hour during a 40 hourweek. The frequency distribution is given in the table to the right. Answer the following questions:

a) What is the highest number of items produced in any one hour?
b) What percentage of the time is the maximum number of items produced.
c) What numbner of items is produced with the highest frequency.
In what percentage of the 40 hours do production levels exceed 54 items?

This is the chart:

Number Produced in an Hour/Number of Occurrences
50/2
51/0
52/4
53/6
54/14
55/8
56/4
57/0
58/0
59/2

2) Thirty percent of all cars crossing a toll bridge have a commuter sticker. What is the probability that among the 10 randomly selected cars waiting to cross the bridge, at least 2 have a commuter sticker?

3) An Olympic gymnast received the follow scores from 6 judges: 9.8, 9.8, 9.4, 9.2, 9.2, 9.0

Write down the relative frequency table and find the expected value E(X) using the relative frequencies from the table.

I know how to get the average and I think I know how to get the relative frequency table for the one about the scores....

9.0 1 .166
9.2 2 .3333
9.4 1 .166
9.8 2 .333

ok good so far

E[X] = the sum of (each score times the relative frequency of that score)

E[X] = (9.0 x .166) + (9.2 x .333) + ... etc. (you finish)

So it would be (9.0 x .166) + (9.2 x .333) + (9.2 x .333) + (9.4 x .166) + (9.8 x .333) + (9.8 x .333) =

Or is it should one of each?
