I'm trying to calculate confidence interval for several values.
The problem lies in fact that this values represent me a precaculated average value with calculated confidence interval.
For example, there was a four experiments. In each experiment I made a several measurements with some error, so after this I calculated average value, mean and deviation. After this I calculated confidence interval for this value. So, in the end i got four values with calculated borders of confidence interval with confidence probability p=95%.
How I can calculate a new average value with confidence interval for this four new values, where error is value of probablity?? I'm pretty sure I cant just ignore this fact, and put value of confidence interval instead of measure error.
After a week of useless searching I'm pretty desperate to find solution for this problem :(
