A certain type of shoe comes in 5 colors, has a male version and a female version,
and comes in 12 sizes for each gender. How many different types of this shoe are
made?


I think the solution is 5*12+5*12=120 different types, is this right answer?

Well, yes and no. If you mean there are 120 different type of shoes and you wanted the number of shows, you MAY be wrong wrong. If you wanted the number of shoes and meant 120 different shows you ARE wrong. BUT, if you wanted the number of shoes and meant 120 different shoes, then you are correct
