Find the values of m and (sigma) if:
P(X>10)=0.1
and P(9<X<10)=0.2
The way that im used to doing is to create 2 equations from the given equations to solve m and (sigma).
However, I only managed to create one:
Given P(X>10)=0.1
P(X<10)=0.9
P(Z<(10-m)/(sigma))=0.9
Using Graphical Calculator (InvNorm )
(10-m)/(sigma)=1.2816
I don't know how to create an equation from the equation P(9<X<10) = 0.2.
