Do you know what the slope is? If not, follow the link. If so (or after studying the lesson at the link), are you familiar with straight-line equations like "y = mx + b" and with graphing linear equations? If not, follow the links. If so (or after studying the lessons), do you know how to solve literal equations for "y="? If not, follow the link. If so (or after following the link):

Solve the given equation -- which I'm guessing is meant to be (2/3)x + 6y = 1, so it's linear rather than rational -- for "y=". Then note the value in front of the x. This must be the slope, m, from y = mx + b. That, or graph the equation, pick two points, and plug them into the slope formula. ;)
