So. I'm not sure what kind of statistics this would be. I've been out of school for several years, so I'm a little past my prime with this sort of thing.
Basically I'm doing a play by post, and assigning troops to battles. I've got the individual battles odds already factored out, but when I decided to take it a step further and predict the casualties, I realized I didn't actually know how.
So each battle has a % chance of winning, like 35%, 70%, 85%, etc.
How do I figure up the total odds of all of them succeeding? All but one of them? All but two of them, etc.?
