One last question for you all. The problem is:

Four students stand in a line facing the teacher. In how many ways can the students be arranged in the line?

Answer: 4!

I really want to use the combination formula to solve this, but that isn't working for me. What am I doing wrong?

Since you haven't posted your work or reasoning, there is no way to know what you might be doing wrong (or right). Sorry. ;)
