How do I find the answer?
A grade 8 class collected the following lunchroom waste over 5 days.
Fruit scraps: 20kg
Food scraps: 15kg
Whole fresh fruits: 10kg
Non-food waste: 5kg

The students eat lunch in school about 180 times in a year. Predict the amount of waste for each item in a year.

I have split your post from the other student's 2006 thread. In future, kindly please post your questions as new threads, rather than as replies to other students' questions.

You have posted this to "Probability / Statistics", so this must have something to do with that (despite looking like a pre-algebra exercise). Kindly please reply with helpful information in this regard, such as recent topics of study in your stats class, formulas or methods you think might apply, and a clear listing of your thoughts and efforts so far. Thank you! ;)
