Hi!

I need some help with reading and interpreting what this actually means. It's in Swedish but I'll translate the constants for you. There are two of them and they say:

(Constant)

Divorces/1000 citizens

Births by women 15-19 years old/
1000 women 15-19 years old

Dependent variable: Expected life expectancy, women

As you can see the the "B" in the divorces constant is -.565 and in the birth rate it's -.226. What does this mean really? Is it how strongly these two values influence the dependent value?

Another value I am interested in is the "Beta" value. This is a value that ultimately shows how likely something is to happen. Or something like that. But ultimately I fail to draw any conclusions on how the two constants affect the dependent value? What does -.565 mean in relations to the other constants and to the dependent value?

Also the divorce constant has a "Sig" value of .253. This means that it's not significant and therefor a different hypothesis must be true? Have I gotten that right?

Appreciate any help you guys can offer?
