Create an Exponential Function from the Data in a Table:

xy
-12.5
05
110
220
340

I know the common ratio and stuff but can someone give me the function of the table in y=ab^x form

The best way to do this would be to use "ln" function and linearize the form

y = a * b^x

ln(y) = ln(a) + x * ln(b)

What are your thoughts?

Okay; let's start with what you know. What is the common ratio for this data set?

When you reply, please show all of your steps and reasoning so far, so we can see where you're getting stuck. Thank you! ;)

That's what happens when you forget to to click Submit Reply.
Hint: What is b0? Since y(0)=a b0 = 5, what is a? What is the common ratio? Given that what is b?
