Still have issues with items being independent or dependent upon one another. Here is another problem, I worked out the solution but am not sure it is correct.

83% of the grade school students in art class are male. 74% of all grade school students are age 10 or less. If a grade school art student is selected at random, what is the probability that they are female and are over 10 years old.

To get percent of female: 100%-83% =17%
To get percent older than 10: 100% - 74% = 26%
To get probability female and older than 10: (17%)(26%) = 4.42%
