Hi guys, i am trying to help a familly member with a project.
She needs to proove her hypothesis by rejecting the null hypothesis.
There are 2 samples with identical size. The first sample(H0) is the results of a class of students thought by
standard methods and the latter sample(H1) is the results of a class of students thought by experimental method.
I have the initial and final results of both classes. The results of H1 are much different that the results of H0.
I have been reading:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Null_hypothesis
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Statistical_hypothesis_testing
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Student's_t-distribution
I have never studied this in school or uni and im not sure how to proceed. So i understand theres a formula
i need to use but i'm completly lost.
Perhaps someone can tip me up on what to read or how to solve this ?
