Hey everyone, theres a question i honestly have no idea how to do and would greatly appreciate any help i can get.

The question reads "A password consisting of four characters is to be chosen from 26 upper case letters, 26 lower case letters, 10 digits and a set of 32 symbols.

Determine the number of possible passwords with either one symbol or one upper case letter."

You also need to decide on whether you repeat or not. That is, using Denis's example, is
* 1 1 1
a valid example?
