Descriptive Statistics - sample mean and sample standard deviation

I posted this on yahoo answer last week but never got any respond back.
I am trying to figure out how to do this solution. Maybe there is a video also step by step to help on Descriptive Statistics with giving the sample mean and sample standard deviation from the question on the image I have attached here.

Based on the image, I want to know how the answer 1.84 is the mean and 1.6 is the standard deviation. What do I need to do to find that answer.

Google the formula for mean and standard deviation for frequency tables.
