I want to calculate the odds that a certain event will happen given we have projected values for their finish, and the highest total wins.

Example:

Player A is projected to get 10 points
Player B is projected to get 9 points
Player C is projected to get 7 points
Player D is projected to get 4 points

I want to calculate the odds of each player getting the most points.

I'm not quite sure your question makes sense. For example you have 'Player A is projected to get 10 points'. With what probability? With what probability distribution?

For example, if the probability is 100% that all four players get what is projected, then Player A wins all the time.
