1.) f(x) = x^3 + 7x^2 +4x -12

2.) f(x) = x^3 + x^2 -17x +15

3.) f(x) = 2x^4 - 3x^3 - 24x^2 +4x +48

4.) f(x)= 2x^3 - 4x^2 - 3x +3

5.) f(x) = x^3 - 5x^2 +13x -14

Can You Do It??

Sure, we can do this. But this isn't our homework. Can you do this?

For instance, you've applied the basic steps outlined here, starting with the Rational Roots Test. Where did this lead?

If you're bogging down, then please pick one of the above equations and reply with your thoughts and efforts so far. For instance, let's say you're having trouble with exercise (1). What did you see when you plugged this into your graphing calculator? What possible rational zeroes did you try (with synthetic division)? And so forth.

Please be complete. Thank you! ;)
