if 8tan (beta symbol)=3 cos (beta symbol), 0 is less than (beta symbol) which is less than pi
what is the value of the angle (the beta symbol)

Please show your work, thus far, and explain why you're stuck. Are you currently taking a trigonometry course? Cheers

The usual first step for solving trig equations is to convert everything to sines and cosines. When you did that, and then cross-multiplied and used the basic Pythagorean identity, where did this lead? Are you stuck in trying to solve the resulting quadratic equation?

Please be complete. Thank you! ;)
