You posted this to "arithemetic", rather than to "pre-algebra" (for percentages) or "algebra" (for working with variables and equations). Have you not yet studied pre-algebra or algebra? If not, what method, rule, or other tools did your class give you for doing this sort of thing? If so, where are you stuck in the beginning-algebra process of solving "1.35x = 100"?x + (x * 35%) = 100
