I don't remember how to do this....


(3y/7)+(y/ 14)<−1

So, here is my work...

(3y/7)+(y/ 14) < -1

[2] (3y/7)+(y/ 14) < -1

(6y/14)+(y/ 14) < -1

7y / 14 < -1

1/2y < -1



y < -2


Is this correct?

No, it's not correct.

The line above makes it incorrect.

[2](3y/7) = 6y/7, not 6y/14.

(6y/14) + (y/14) < -1

7y/14 < -1

(1/2)y < -1
