Q1. An object moving along a straight line has its displacement, s metre, from a fixed point O, given by the equation s= 2t2 - t, t ≥ 0 minute.

a) when this object is at rest, at what position and how far is it from O?


b) determine the average velocity of this object in the first 3 minutes.

c) determine the average acceleration of this object in the first 3 minutes.

How do you get a function for 'v' from the function of 's(t)'?

How do you get a function for 'a' from the function of 's(t)'?
