Hi All,

I'm trying to solve for V52 in this equation AJ52=AJ12+V52*(1-Y52)*AA52+(1-AG52)*(AD12+V52*(1-Y52)*(1-AA52))

I was able to get 1 of the V52 to one side of the equation but this part:
(1-AG52)*(AD12+V52*(1-Y52)*(1-AA52) I can't separate this V52 out of here

Any help would be very very very much appreciated.

Hi Guys,

This was my thought process..

a = b + c*(1 - d)*e + (1 - f)*[g + c*(1 - d)*(1 - e)]

a - b =
c*(1 - d)*e + (1 - f)*[g + c*(1 - d)*(1 - e)]

a - b -
(1 - f)*[g + c*(1 - d)*(1 - e)] = c*(1 - d)*e

a - b - (1 - f)*[g + c*(1 - d)*(1 - e)] / (1 - d)*e = c

But then I have the other C that I haven't been able to get out

Am I suppose to do PEMDAS backwards? I think there must be some simplifying rules that I am forgetting.
