Vertices of an asymptote? f(x)=(x+1)/(x-1)

Asked to find vertices of f(x)=(x+1)/(x-1) there is no vertex correct

The graph is a hyperbola. Vertices of hyperbolas are defined (google it). Again it goes back to how you define "vertex".
