Matrix determinant help

If A and B are 3×3 matrices which are identical except that row 1 in B has been obtained by applying the elementary row operation 2R3-3R1 to A, then det B equals
A) 2 detA
B) -3 detA
C) None of these

I'm sorry, I posted before reading the rules. Anyway, it's an online test and got the answers all correct except for this one. Is it right that when any 2 rows in two 3x3 identical matrices are the same, their determinant is the same as well? Even after applying the elementary row operation?
